Last Set for Awhile

Now i had already made the apple last week.

So i decided to make it a matching pear as well,i love this fabric.

This set will be gifted next month to a lovely friend for her birthday.

Hubby has also been busy in the veggie garden,he has 5 beds prepared,i think he has planted, beetroot, parsnips, carrots, leek and cabbage.
The garden has had a break for 12 months,so i am looking forward to home grown veggies again.

 Life only comes around once.
So do what makes you happy and be around people who make you smile.

cheers shez xx

  4. Clever you putting that frame around your pic. I have no idea how to do half the things you do on your blog LOL. LOve the new apple and pear. IT will be good to plant the vegies. Our tomatoes are slow, a couple a day. Zuccinis went ferral LOL. MOst of thebeans have finished and we have an abundance of lettuces. Sadly, the cockies arrive every morning and eat the unripened nectarines and I am waiting for heaps of peaches to ripen before the cockies get them. They are very rowdy and naughty. They grab the fruit, fly on the roof and then you hear the fruit tumble down the roof onto the ground.

  7. Gosh they look good in any fabric, don't they! So pretty! I'm hoping we can do a garden this year, although we might just end up feeding the deer - everyone seems to have a problem keeping them out, lol.

  9. Oh my goodness......the fruit is lovely! I just scanned through your earlier postings to see the others you have made. I also noticed your hexie project....is that Aneela Hoey fabric? I made a quilt using her "Little Apples" series and these colors look very similar.
