It's A Small World

I finally got to go to a fun sewing day at a little town close to me,i knew about it but hadnt got around to going to it,so after a friendly reminder from a new blogging friend that i hadnt met yet,i decided to go,so glad i did they are such a lovely friendly group.

I got to see some beautiful work from the ladies, top right is Cathy's first quilt she has ever made.
Bottom left is Sue's 2nd quilt that she has just made for her MIL

Sorry ladies i have forgotten alot of names, but i got to see lots of lovely things.

Its a small world Annie guess who i found at the sewing group, one of your friends Brenda and chooky look who my new blogging friend is,lol, gee its a small world,
My new blogging friend is Joy from Days filled with Joy.

And these 2 lovely people i knew from the Embroidery group which i was a member,i didnt rejoin last year.
Cathy on the left who lives near me and Simon on the right who is the 1st man to join the Embroidery group and boy he sure is clever,i have seen his stitching work which is perfection and yesterday he blew me away with his knitting,it was that fine and even you would think it was done on a knitting machine.
Well ladies i will be back there next week, lol.
It pays to look around your area,i have also discovered a walking group and they have a comunity garden and encourage people to take what veggies and herbs you would like, plus also they have a cart where people can put excess food and plants and herbs from there garden for other people to take, what a great idea these are.
Lol i have only lived out this way for 12 years and have only just opened up my eyes and looked around.
I picked some zucchini and apple cucumber from the garden and will make a quiche, yummy.

Life only comes around once.
So do what makes you happy and be around people who make you smile.

cheers shez xx

  14. Joining a group is such fun. LOvely projects there. I have often wondered why none of my patchwork groups have at least one man in them. Glad you had such a fun day.
