Nearly some finishes

This had been put aside before xmas and has been sitting around on the chair in the sewing room,so i decided to get it finished.

Oh dear it was hard to choose which fabric for the borders

I love this fabric its a bit retro, its called Postcards for Santa by Riley Blake and i got it at the Patchwork shop in Maldon.

Gee it wasnt fun to pull out all the cardboard in these stars, lol

I had put this project into the to hard basket, but thought get on with it and challenge yourself,i have decided to machine stitch these stars down instead of hand stitching,so i hope to have a finish soon.

I have also sandwiched the Christmas banners together,so i hope to have these finished soon too.

Life only comes around once.
So do what makes you happy and be around people who make you smile.

cheers shez xx

  20. Gorgeous runner - just a little bit different - good pick with the fabric too. Sometimes those 'too hard basket ' things need time to marinate....
