A Trip to Gail's Patchwork Emporium

Lynnie and i got back home in time on Friday from Maldon for a Visit to Gail's patchwork Emporium.
Gail had some beautiful easter decorations,i was very tempted.

Gail's shop is amazing and so much fun to look around.

Lynnie was a bit partial to these old hats, they are beautiful each one covered in flowers.

I go back to the hospital today to get my stitches out and hopefully thats the last thing they have to do and i can concentrate on building up strength back in my ankle.

Hope your day is a good one.
cheers Shez xx

  2. Oh my gosh an amazing shop and those hats remind me of the 1970ties swimming caps from the ladies as I was a child. I always wanted such a bathing cap too and never got one!
All the best for your ankle Shez!

  21. Emporium INDEED!!! Wow - I would have bought all of those Easter decorations - love the bunnies on the scooters! And those hats!! I bought one last year at an antique store and display it with my spring decor. You gals look like you sure had a great time. Glad you are on the 'last leg' -- sorry :) of your recovery!

  22. I'm catching up on a few posts at once .....what a great time in Maldon followed by another on the way back!!! I can see why you were fascinated with that quilt with the black background and " flower" motives - so many shapes ....love the Easter decorations, although it's a bit scary to think of Easter getting so close to us now!
