Monday Craft

Monday at craft i actually did a few stitches,i am making my GD a present for her birthday in July, lol getting a head start.

There was lots of different crafts being done,Sherreal and Carol were having a chat while getting the yarn winder ready.

And Denise and Simon were chatting about Denise's weaving.

Some of the girls were still knitting socks,Lorel was doing some tapestry and Shereal showed us her daisy chain scarf.

Top left pic Barb was showing us a sock snowman that her Grandson had made.
We run a class over the school holidays for children and the Grandchildren of the women that go to craft on Monday's and after much decussion the ladies have decided to teach the children to make cushions in their favourite footy team colours.

Brenda had made herself a bag and it looked fantastic and she was showing us all the hexies she had made up and put in a container ready for her to grab one for her tiny hexie quilt that she is making.

I enjoy our Monday secession's and the laugh's that we have.
Hope your day is a good one.
Cheers Shez xx

  10. What a super group that you have to enjoy. It's fascinating to see all the different craft activities that are going on, and I hope each person shares their skills if someone wants to learn. I really loved the idea of teaching the kids over their holidays too. Keeps them busy with something worthwhile, plus the handcrafts skills will be carried on. Loved the new header of your littles. The birthday gift looks well underway too. TFS & Hugs. Happy Easter.
