Strolling Around

With my broken ankle i havent been able to walk around the garden for months.

So the sun was out yesterday and i thought i would just take my time and walk around, the iceberg roses are still heavy with flowers.

The ground is very dry here as it is just about everywhere else, the lavender  bushes that hubby has planted between the fruit trees have grown heaps.

We had lots of bees this year but the fruit trees didnt do well, think we need to give them a good trim back this winter.

Lots of water still in the dam and our water tanks to the house are quite full too,so we have done well with the water this year.
Hope you enjoyed the little walk around my yard with me.

Hope your day is a good one.
Cheers Shez xx

I grow LOTS of lavender and they do like hot and dry.

  26. What a pleasure it must be for you to walk around the garden after such a long time and look at all the plants and flowers. I have a similar feeling when the snow has completely disappeared and I walk around and look for the first spring flowers to appear.

  37. It makes me really happy that you were able to get out and see the garden. When I saw your Lavender it brought bees to mind. I planted some a couple of years ago and they sure attract bees, but the bees never bother US. They just go about their bee business.

  41. Looks like you have a lot of property to keep up & probably a peaceful place to live. The tree roses are beautiful--so full of blooms! Mine have tons of new growth, so I'm thinking the roses may be early again this year. I love looking at them, but the pruning & picking up dropped petals is not my idea of a good time--haha!
