FNWF

For FNWF i finished the embroidery on my Holly Cottage block., a big thankyou to my buddy Chez for hosting Friday Night With Friends.

During the week i finished 2 knitted chicken jackets, my buddy Lyn put out a call for friends to knit some jackets for her daughters distressed chooks after a fox got into the coop and did some damaged.
Lol they will be the best dressed chooks in the neighbourhood . Now i just need to press them ,sew the dags in and sew some buttons on and they are finished .

Friday i took my GD Adie out to lunch for her 11th Birthday and she chose Hogs Breath cafe to go to,we had a lovely meal and then did some shopping.

Adie also loved her stationary holder and has already started a bullet journal .

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Cheers Shez xx

  13. Your Christmas block is so bright and cheery - I love Christmas quilts :) And I have never heard of a chicken jacket, but they look warm and cosy. Can we see a picture of a chicken wearing it? As a chicken fancier and collector, I hope they all recover.
PS recently purchased a pattern for a Chook Quilt, so back to the quilting for me!

I missed this month's FNWF because we were returning from a week of vacation and I knew I wouldn't make it into the sewing room Friday night. Looking forward to joining everyone next month.
