A Gift for a Friend

I decided to make a pouch for my friend Michelle for her birthday.

I just made the pattern up as i went along and hoping that it would turn out.

I used my stash of Morning Glory by Robyn Pandolph knowing that Michelle loves red and Robyn's fabric. All finished and it arrived in time for Michelle's birthday along with the gingerbread man.

Pierre is already quite at home at Michelle's.

And of course i used the Stitcher's alphabet for the M design ,which is a lovely pattern designed by my friend Michelle.

I made a lovely chicken and french onion casserole,i made mine in the crock pot, recipe below.

Hubby cant get enough of this we both enjoyed this meal and lucky it made up extra for the freezer.

Hope your day is a good one.
Cheers Shez xx

  1. Ace present, Pierre is fabulous. The crockpot recipe sounds delicious, some chunky bread to dip in there and that's me for tea. Take care Shez, love the little label on the pouch by the way ;)

  2. I see many uses for that pretty pouch. I note that you used my favourite way of putting the zip into a pouch. Dinner looks delicious with the bonus of some leftovers for another night.

  22. Michelle sounds like a woman after my own heart. I love red too, and that floral print is beautiful. She must have been over the moon to open her parcel. Gingerbread man was a nice addition too.
