Finishes for August & more stitching Projects

I only had 4 finishes for the month of August, but i am pleased to have finished all four now of the xmas bags.

Finished the stitching for my Christmas star banner.

Here is a closer look,i am going to make the stars with Tilda fabric.

I have decided to make xmas sacks for my 3 Grandson's,i have finished one stitchery.

And i have cut out the fabric for the 3 xmas sacks,i think they will be good for the boys, instead of the bags i made for the Grand daughters.

I have been full up with the flu feeling pretty miserable ,but i managed to go to a fund raiser on Sunday for a little boy Luke who is only 9mths old and dying of cancer, the money raised is for the parents so they can eat and pay bills whilst spending what valuable time they have left with their little man,so sad and to see him he is such a happy soul.

Hope you had a good weekend.
Cheers Shez xx

PS i came across this from somewhere and thought it was funny so i thought i would share it with you all.

  27. My heart breaks for that wee little baby and his family...God obviously has a plan but sometimes it would be nice if he would share it with us so we could understand why. So sorry you've been feeling rotten - it seems to me there's an awful lot of flu going around all summer this year. Hope that doesn't mean winter will be worse than normal. Take care of you!
