Xmas sacks & Some Fun Purchases

I have finished Riley and Murphy's xmas sacks,i was hoping to have Dempsey's finished as well but i didnt get a chance, still not sewing much yet,as i cant sit for too long.
I drove the car for the first time in 3 weeks last week,so my back is improving.
My sister sent me these lovely pics while she was in Carri'n de los Condes ( Spain)
She is doing really well and reached Lagartos yesterday after a 27km walk ,she has one very sore foot but she is working through the pain.

Hubby picked up our new to us caravan last week and our car the week before,we were going to go camping with friends on the weekend but it was too cold and hubby has come down with the flu.
So we will be right for holidays now.

Here is some pics of my DD2 working with some of the children from the orphanage in Hosanna Myanmar, she is loving her mission work.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and hope you all have an awesome week.
Cheers Shez xx

  3. Love your sacks, Shez, the fabric is beautiful. What a shame you couldn't go on your camping trip, hope your hubby will feel better soon. Hopefully you will be able to use your caravan soon. We'll be using our caravan for a couple more times before the winter sets in and it will be March before it will be warm enough to use it again. xx

  30. Cute christmas bags Shez. Hope hubby is feeling better soon so you can try out your new toy. I have been absent from blogland a bit lately - we have sold our house and will be in our new place in three weeks.. We are downsizing - going from acreage to a very small block (our base home). Two of the adult kids are going to stay with us (one is still in uni) to look after the house while we travel more... we have been thinking of getting a van too..if we dont get a van then we will travel via other means (car, plane etc). It has been such a busy time that i hardly get any time to sew and my sewing room is half packed now too... Looking forward to seeing what adventures you get up to in your van..xxx
