Yipee all Finished

Just thought i would let my FB and IG friends know that i have unfriended them and deleted my FB and IG ,i did it this way so that i am not tempted to go back,i spend way to much time on the computer especially with Candy crush, and i want to spend more time exercising and taking time out for me and  to keep up with the housework  and to also start sewing for my home, believe it all not i dont have much at home that i have made for myself, lol. So i will see how i go with my blog for now.

Hooray i have finished my 7th needlecase,i dont want to do another one for quite awhile now, lol.

Its a pretty one in soft greens.

Now they are put in their cellophane bags ready for wrapping and putting gift tags on.

My cousin is celebrating her 50th birthday early December and she had wanted to buy a reindeer from me,i told her i dont  have time and i dont do orders, lol,so guess what she is getting for her birthday,i think she will be rapted with this little fellow.

  2. Lovely, lovely Xmas and B-Day gifts, Shez !
Although often tempted, I always resisted joining FB. Knowing myself, I just knew I'd spend way too much time on it, too many temptations, too much addictive and sewing time "eater" LOL
Many of my Blogger friends stopped blogging and went to FB, yet I'm resisting... Actually, I could sing "I will survive, I will survive !" LOL

(yet, I admit I should post more often on my Blog)

    In stitches,
    Nadine

  5. Wonderful gifts! Very well done! I have never joined Facebook, as you said it takes up time that could be spent exercising or stitching. I enjoy my blog and reading blogs like yours. Great surprise for your cousin!

  10. Great finish with your last needle case. They are all so pretty.
It does not hurt to take a break from some of the social media. It can take over! And besides - you have far more important things to be doing!

  11. Congrats on finishing the seventh needle case. They all look so great and will make wonderful gifts. Just as the little reindeer which will be a gorgeous surprise gift.
I have never been on FB or IG, I just love my blog and visiting other bloggers. Although there are so many who seem to have abandoned their blog.

  14. Love the reindeer. LOVE...LOVE...LOVE your October background. Enchanting!
Thank you for keeping the blog. I have a FB page, but don't visit everyday. I do play Gummy Drop on my tablet but they only give me three lives so when I die the third time, I'm gone for the day, lol. I'm with you, limiting computer time is necessary! I had to laugh when I saw a meme saying something like..I'm inviting some people over tonight to look at their phones. Ain't that the truth.
    xx, Carol

  19. Don’t the needle cases look great all together. I don’t use Facebook or Instagram as I know I would waste even more time online. I’m glad you still kept your blog, as that is what so many seem to be letting go of.

  20. I totally understand about the Internet being a distraction. I lose track of time online and I know it isn't good for me and there is always just one more click.
The needlecases are lovely Shez. And your cousin is going to be very pleased.

  21. Your needle cases are lovely, particularly the soft green one. Lucky recipients! A hand-gift is always so special - and so is the charming reindeer who will be very much loved.

  25. Golly... 7 needlecases, Shez... that book has paid for itself!
Social media is definitely 'addicting' & easy to lose track of just how much time we spend on it...I'm sure you'll enjoy planning & making some really projects for yourself & your home... when you get immersed in that, you will soon forget Candy Crush!
