Lavender

I asked Hubby if he would take some pics in what we call our orchard,we have a few fruit trees at the back of our house.

We decided last year to plant lavender bushes around the fruit trees to attract the bees.

The lavender is in full bloom and looks lovely against the green grass and they have also attacted heaps of bees,so hopefully fruit laden trees this year.

I have been so spoilt with more lovely gifts and cards and phone calls from my lovely caring friends, thankyou so much,it really does put a smile on your face when the letter box has such lovely goodies.

I have also started on a Rosalie Dekker project whish i have had for quite a few years, lol,in fact i got it at my first LGS retreat it must be 5 years ago, lol.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.
cheers Shez xx

  17. How lovely to have your own orchard, and I like your arbour (if that is what it is called) as well. I grow lavender too, and love your idea of putting it around the trees. Can I ask about the red bird designs in your header? They are so sweet and I do have a thing about little red birds!

  18. I love this peaceful place. I have Lavender by the pond. Lots of bees visit it and never sting...unlike the stinking Mud Wasp who think they own the place, lol.
