A Finish & A Recipe

I had made a start on this around the end of Oct when i was spending my days in the recliner with my leg up.

I was so glad to finish this one as there was so much satin stitch to do.

This is the fabric that was in the kit for the border and i also decided to do a little bit of quilting on it.

I decided to put a striped binding on it,lol,i love stripes for the binding.

I got it finished and hanging up a couple of days before xmas ,i am quite pleased with how it turned out.

I also made this lovely slow cooker Pork and Beans with chorizo and boy it was yummy, its so different to what i normally make and hubby has asked for it again, lol.
Recipe is here

Hope your day is a good one.
Cheers Shez xx

  14. It looks really gorgeous Shez = well done! I don't like lots of satin stitch either ... I tend to draw it up too tightly.

  23. Your stitched wall hanging is lovely. The binding is perfect for it. We eat a lot of beans at my house. I try to invent ways to add them to a meal. I'm going to try and add chorizo to beans.
    Happy New Year.
