Another Start & Another Birthday

I have started making my grandson Demspey a fox for his birthday but i didnt quite get it finished in time ,so i hope to finish it off today.

I had another fun day at craft on Monday and Sue was very excited with her quilt she had just picked it up from her quilter and now only has the binding to sew down.

Brenda did the beautiful quilting on Sue quilt.

Cathy was hand quilting her lovely table topper.

Yesterday was my Grandson Dempsey's 8th birthday so we had a lovely tea at Lake Wendouree.

I made the lovely White Chocolate Raspberry cheesecake recipe here.

Hope your day is a good one.
cheers Shez xx

  23. I am thrilled about the wonderful quilts your art-quilt friends are creating!
This fox will be super - good luck with it and you are a blessed grandmother - so lovely grandchildren already!
My some years elder girl cousin who has emigrated 40 years ago from Austria to Australia lives near Melbourne and is also a blessed grandmother now of 4 grandchildren. But I got my daughter very late with 37 - and she gets only 17 next month --- so I will have to wait a couple of years I fear to become a granny....lol!

  24. Shez that fox is ADORABLE!!!! You have such talent! Looking forward to seeing the finished product. I really love the colors in that quilt -- I tried quilting a few times but got lazy and didn't keep up with it. Our local library has a group that meets and I've gone to that from time to time - seeing all of your and your friend's projects makes me want to do it more!!
