Happy Stitches

I have been working on this lovely pattern called Happy Stitches by Melly & Me.

I bought this lovely freeze fabric awhile ago to make my GD a cushion but she changed her mind ,so i decided to use it for this project

I quilted it with just straight lines.

I am pleased with how it has come up.

Then i found some lovely fabric to bind it with.

And i have a finish and a birthday gift ready for Miss Adie.

It was a sewing pocket but i changed it abit inside to make it a stationary holder for Adie to hold her writing journal, writing pad and gel pens and biros and instead of ties i used large press studs.

This was a lovely quick project to make up and it was good to use this pattern as i had, had it for years, lol.

Hope your day is a good one,i will be heading back home today after spending time with dad and my sister at Portarlington, love it at the beach.

Cheers Shez xx
