Craft & Progress

On Monday i had another wonderful day at craft with these lovely ladies ,top left hand picture is a lovely quilt that Brenda had just quilted on her longarm and a lot of the girls were knitting socks.

I finally started on my Shelley Kelly pouch ,cant find a link to this pattern, sorry.

I finished a cute Birdhouse stitchery to make a draw string bag to add to the baby gifts.

I have wanted to start this gingerbread man pattern for a few years now and finally got around to painting his face yesterday,i was scared of the painting in case i stuffed it up.
The pattern is out of  an old Country Threads magazine Vol 14 No 7

It certainly is soup weather down our way at the minute, and i made this carrot and Lentil coconut soup,i will be making this one again as it was very yummy, recipe below.

Hope your day is a good one.
Cheers Shez xx

Gosh not so long ago, the knitting of socks was considered so old-fashioned & daggy, but now it's the 'in' thing!
