Baby Kanga & been Busy

We had our 2 grandson's over last week and boy did they get excited when they got to see kangaroos in our yard, even more so when Murphy said there is one with her pouch jumping up and down and then next thing a little joey popped its head out, well the boys were beside them selves, then we watched the little joey bending down and eating the grass all from the comfort of his mum's pouch, how cute.

The boys and i also went on a bush walk ,we found a little hill where a fox had been living ,so the boys were poking sticks in the holes hoping the fox would come out,it would've been funny if one did pop its head out ,i reckon i would'nt have seen the boys for dust.
Lol i knew that it had been empty for many months now,we did have a fox live in there with its cubs, but they have been long gone.

The chicken vests are all finished, dags sewn in and buttons sown on and they have had a good press ready to give to Lyn later this week.

I have finished needle turning another Holly Cottage block.

I have finished 4 more tags from Ruth's quilt.

I have been working on a secret project also.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Cheers Shezxx

  26. Can't imagine having kangaroos in my yard - but that's because I live in Canada and obviously we don't have them here! And wouldn't it have been funny had a fox poked its head out - I imagine you would have been joining the boys in making dust!!
